CENDEKIA: Jurnal Studi Keislaman menyediakan akses terbuka langsung ke isinya dengan prinsip bahwa membuat penelitian tersedia secara gratis untuk publik mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan global yang lebih besar.

CENDEKIA: Jurnal Studi Keislaman mematuhi standar I4OC untuk kutipan terbuka, yang berarti bahwa semua konten tersedia secara gratis untuk pengguna atau institusi. Jurnal ini juga telah mendukung Initiative for Open Citation (I4OC) yang bertujuan agar tidak hanya artikel teks lengkap yang dapat diakses oleh publik, tetapi referensi dalam artikel juga sama berharganya untuk dipublikasikan.
